My name is Jaclyn Falkenberg and I am the CEO and Founder of Empowered EA. I have over 25 years of professional experience supporting people to be successful. My strength has always been the ability to help people define what true success means for them and supporting them to achieve that success.
I am passionate about empowering Executive Assistants to step into their true leadership potential, get recognized for their incredible contributions to businesses worldwide, build effective relationships, and foster meaningful work. I also relish working with C-Suite Executives who debunk the myth that self sufficiency is somehow more honourable than partnership and that going it alone is better for the bottom line. They recognize and embrace the force-multiplying power of an incredible EA.
Leadership Coaching
I am a professionally trained leadership coach and studied through the oldest and largest in-person coach training organization in the world, Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). CTI's Co-Active Coach Training Program is widely recognized as the most rigorous coach training program in the industry. I am also an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentialed through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) which is the only governing body that oversees the coaching profession. I subscribe to a code of ethics that can be reviewed here. I use the incredible skill of coaching to help people maximize their personal and professional potential. I am committed to professional development and growth and have completed hundreds of hours of course work including leadership development, Positive Intelligence, and EA Masterclasses.

Executive Assistant Experience
I have over 20 years experience as a administrative professional and Senior Executive Assistant supporting C-Suite Executives. I have worked in various sectors including youth restorative justice, non-profit/charity, and finance/private equity. My experience includes executive support (travel, calendar management, etc.), event coordination (from budgets of $0 to $500,000), stakeholder engagement, office management, HR management, policy development, financial management, fund development, etc. etc. etc. Like most great EAs, there is not much that I didn't do or couldn't figure out!

Kids Up Front Calgary - I recently completed my third term as a Director at Kids Up Front Calgary where I used my skills of coaching, strategic planning, and event coordination to help further the mission of this amazing organization.

I am married to my very best friend Dean, mom of 3 successfully adulting children, and dog mom to two ridiculous labs. I love margaritas, tacos, guacamole, and any time I can stick my toes in the sand. I live for deep, meaningful conversations with interesting people. My ideal way to spend time is with family and friends golfing, swimming, fishing, exploring new places, and checking off items from my annual bucket list!
